Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

Our commitment

These terms govern a campaign built by and for autistic people. The rules on this page are written in the same spirit as everything else we do — clearly, without jargon, and with the community at the centre. If anything here is unclear or creates a barrier, tell us and we will fix it.

Plain language summary

Use this site and its resources in good faith. The toolkit is free and you are welcome to use it. Do not reproduce the campaign materials as your own. Do not feed campaign materials into AI systems for commercial purposes. Paid memberships directly fund autistic speakers and accessibility. There are no refunds. If something goes wrong, contact us at hello@autisticprideday.org and we will sort it out.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Aurum Foundation and Just Gold, two Australian social enterprises. Our website address is https://autisticprideday.org. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Aurum Foundation and Just Gold.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using this website, downloading the toolkit, or purchasing a membership, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

3. Use of this site

You may use this site for personal, organisational, and professional purposes consistent with the campaign’s intent. You may not use this site or its content to misrepresent the campaign, the organisation, or the autistic community. You may not scrape, reproduce, or republish campaign materials without written permission.

4. The toolkit

The Autistic Pride Day toolkit is made available free of charge. It is licensed for use by individuals, organisations, schools, workplaces, and government bodies for the purpose of marking Autistic Pride Day and advancing autistic inclusion. It may not be sold, repackaged, or distributed as your own work. Attribution to Autistic Pride Day and Aurum Foundation is required when the toolkit is used publicly.

Campaign materials, including toolkit content, may not be used to train, fine-tune, or otherwise feed commercial artificial intelligence systems without written permission from Aurum Foundation. Non-commercial and personal use does not require permission. If you are unsure whether your intended use qualifies, contact us before proceeding.

5. Membership

Paid memberships are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a membership you agree to the price and billing terms displayed at the time of purchase. Memberships are non-transferable. We reserve the right to revoke a membership if it is used in a manner inconsistent with the campaign’s values or these terms.

In the event that the Autistic Pride Day campaign concludes or significantly changes scope, active paid members will be notified a minimum of 30 days in advance. Members with remaining paid periods will receive either a prorated refund or equivalent access to successor campaign resources, at our discretion and in consultation with affected members.

6. No refunds

Membership contributions directly fund autistic speakers, accessibility, and the production of campaign resources that are made freely available to the global community. For this reason we do not offer refunds. Before purchasing, please read the membership details carefully. If you have a question about what a membership includes, contact us at hello@autisticprideday.org before completing your purchase.

7. Intellectual property

All campaign materials, copy, design, and branding on this site are the intellectual property of Aurum Foundation and Just Gold. The Autistic Pride Day name, logo, and visual identity are protected. Unauthorised use is not permitted.

8. Accessibility

Accessibility is not an afterthought on this site. It is a standard. We are committed to meeting WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidelines across all pages and resources. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, contact us at hello@autisticprideday.org and we will address it within five business days. We treat accessibility complaints with the same priority as any other critical site issue.

9. International users

If you are accessing this site from outside Australia, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with local laws. For users in the European Union, we comply with GDPR. For users in the United Kingdom, we comply with the UK GDPR. If a dispute arises and cannot be resolved through direct communication, we will seek mediation before pursuing formal legal action, regardless of jurisdiction.
